I wroted a poem :D Read it?

I'm not much of a poet, but I really wanted to write this. The words mean so much to me, even if they are badly written.


Simple, be my world.
Tortured, yet given a gift;
The gift is small, yet so large.
In my heart I bear a fruit of beauty
of love
of sorrow
of anger
Pulsating -- breathing -- in my eyes.
Given a gift, I must thank you.
The gift, if you do so dare to ask, is none too hard to see;
For you see, my child
The gift is life. Life in this world.
The life I was given.
The life.
Your life.
To me, this is my gift.
Please do not take it away.
In my heart, the fruit will grow,
Your eyes will open, and you will grow as well.
And I'll be there
Holding your hands
Thankful for my gift,
Thankful for you.
And in your eyes, may you never bear any sorrow or anger,
but only love.
Unconditional, beautiful, breath-taking,
Just like the sight I see
Whenever I lay eyes on my gift.
